After 16 months of having lost my muse, I'm returning to writing my blog, seeking and reaching for new ideas and sharing thoughts on a day's journey down the mobile, technology, global and aesthetic paths of my life.
What's kept me away?
Well work, life, and a lost interest in feeding the shark that a moderately successful blog demands, while still trying to fulfill my personal aspiration to create something interesting, timely, and insightful. In retrospect that was (and is) the biggest challenge in writing regularly.
Compound that difficulty with real world demands of making a living, such as NDA's and non-publish clauses of consultancies I've been engaged in over the last year, and et voila, no posts. Quiet. No complaints though, back in April of 2009 I was engaged by Syniverse in their $175 million of Verisign's messaging platforms. Consulted with them through the closing of the deal and the launch of their integration efforts. In 2010 I flew over 170,000 airmiles so I've been kept busy, and my kept my masters happy.
I'm heading to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, so if you're there, drop me a note here or via linkedin or A Small World--if you qulaify ;)--and we can connect.
I'm looking to reconnect, refresh and renew my mobile industry network, so please drop me a note. I'd love to mee you. There's always mutual utility in meeting someone in the mobile space and global commerce.
Look forward to more mobile industry comments and my perspective on a life of global commerce commig soon.
Cheers!
Paul
